I’d argue that most equestrian sports would be better with bicycles. Bicycle polo is apparently a thing.
Horses are social animals that enjoy being active. I don’t know where animal cruelty was mentioned here?
I do not enjoy hockey, but let’s not for a second pretend that Polo is better than hockey.

The title of this post can be inferred that is what was meant. Inference: “Hockey is great, but when you add horses and create polo then it’s better. What else is better?”

Curling, ice skating, synchronized swimming. It’d be hard to find a sport that wouldn’t be improved by horses.
