Holy shit i didnt even realise it didnt have one. Yeah no this definitely needs a cw. Even if the post itself doesnt use the word, its about it, and people are going to discuss it.

      cw:sa

He has literally advocated for a loosening of sex trafficking laws, has called the Epstein witnesses/survivors liars, and has called every single person accused of sexual assault in the last like 10 years innocent. From Kevin Spacey to the Cornell 7.

discussion of SA, i thought it was clear from which thread we're in but i just noticed it seriously has no CW

Have you ever read any mainstream comment section under any report on SA? They’re all full of guys like him, doesn’t matter if it’s chud or lib outlets. He’s just more mask-off about it, more ragebaiting and he does this under his actual name. But i’m really baffled by how hard some people on here find it to believe that a guy defends r*pists when that happens all the damn time. You know that one in seven women gets r*ped at least once during her lifetime? You almost certainly know women like that. You almost certainly know men who did something like that. Do you know anybody who’s been convicted of r*pe? Most people don’t. And this case illustrates perfectly why that is.

I mean, just look at the case itself. I’d argue that calling it the “Cornell 7” is kind of a euphemism when the perpetrators posted in their frat’s group chat, with 50 other men reading along, that they planned this and invited everybody to join. There were 50 men who could have prevented this from happening and chose not to. And then, their campus decided that the appropriate reaction was not to immediately disband their frat, expel all of them and help as much as possible in investigating the crimes, but to let the 7 who actually assaulted Jane Doe write an essay to reflect on what they did wrong. And the cops dismissed the allegations on a formality.

This is what we mean when we say r*pe culture.

Yeah, it’s beyond disgusting. I don’t want to dox myself with details, but the sheer lack of anything happening when someone I knew committed SA against someone else was disgusting, no support for the victim, all I could do was cut him out of my life and try to isolate him since there was 0 interest by the authorities in investigating this, despite several witnesses willing to testify, it would ultimately come down to the victim’s word against his, and since she was “mentally ill” it meant that the case was almost guaranteed to get thrown out. Probably one of the most radicalising moments in my life, realising how many guys will close ranks to protect aremoved, even if thatremoved is a complete stranger to them. Makes me wonder how many guys out there regularly assault women knowing that they’ll get away with it and the law will be more likely to protect them rather than prosecute them.
