Reminds me of Skinners tribes from Drake & Stirling series “General”

Barbarian nomads employed by the Civil Government as mercenaries. Notorious anarchists, with a reputation for marksmanship, dog riding, and atrocities. The Skinners speak a mangled mixture of English and French, “Paytoiz”. They are reminiscent of the Huns. There are many references to the Skinners coming from French Canada, particularly Quebec. One of the groups is the “Trois Rivière” tribe. There are also examples of French Canadian names. This also explains the mixture of French and English.

They also had middle finger on their flag

    • trump-anguish You got this guy Julian - very strong, very sweaty, always in the black shirt - beautiful arms, folks, some of the best arms maybe ever seen in organized crime - and he’s running what they call the Swayze Express. It’s a model train, okay? Little choo-choo - very cute, very tiny - and they’re stuffing it with Chinese garbage, running it across the border like it’s the Underground Railroad, but for counterfeit patio furniture. Very creative. Very disgusting. And it’s happening in the trailer parks - beautiful trailer parks - now full of gorgeous, glistening men committing terrible crimes. Patrick Swayze - great guy, great dancer, knew him well - he’d be spinning in his grave, folks. Absolutely devastated.

Soon - there’s a discussion in home of an Idaho border town.

      “Is your connect legit?”

“You’ve asked me that 10 times this morning. Chill.”

      “Yeah but if—”

      Listen! That’s the drone, baby!”

There’s a pause. “Oh, I can hear it! I love the sound of napalm in the morning.”

“But it’s not the sound… Never mind. Let’s go outside and get our stuff.”

LMAO, I love that TEMU is just blasting their American users with push notifications and banner notifications that Trump tarrifs are why they have to pay 145% of the sale price for their cart.

Legit can’t think of a better way to get the treatlerites to actually pay attention.

When I was around 20 this would have been me. Didn’t care about stuff that happened on the news, didn’t read any news websites, didn’t watch tv or YouTube just videogames and work

I’ve been watching that sub for the last few days and it’s a bit heartening. Most posters correctly attribute it to the tariffs and blame the current administration.

What the fuck are those people ordering? Everything I’ve seen on Temu you can still find pretty cheap in the US (especially since you’re not paying for shipping) or is stuff like this (all of these were rated 5/5):

Like are they just ordering $100 worth of bathroom pun art and lawn ornaments?

Knockoff Lego and camping blankets? I really don’t know. It’s hard to spend a lot unless you go in for furniture, which really isn’t temu’s strong suit–hard to toss a futon into a shipping bag, unless it’s inflatable. Which, tbh, I’ve seen.

Temu is literally where you can get anything you can buy in stores for half the price American companies charge. My wife’s chair was $60 on Temu, literal same exact chair under an “american” brand was over $150. Same chair to the stitching.

It’s basically the same but with a really annoying app and dealing with returns is much easier because you’re dealing with a more centralized entity rather than the sellers. You get better deals on aliexpress but if something’s wrong with what you got it can be a big/bigger pain.

Honestly both websites were really useful if you knew when to use them. Now we’re all back to being stuck overpaying some dropshipper dipshit

shitty online shop based in china that’s popular in america because instead of shipping in bulk to warehouses in the US to distribute their stuff, they would send each individual item directly thus avoiding tariffs due to the “de minimis” loophole. one trump is eliminating de minimis for china meaning tariffs apply and two trump is putting crazy tariffs on china, the result being temu orders getting cancelled or incredibly expensive.

the person in the screenshot is oblivious to this fact so they ordered a lot of shit from temu and now im assuming their orders are getting cancelled.
