For more context on this drama, 5 employees of Elon Musk that are said to be accessing the Treasury payments system were named with a few prominent posts that called to get them out of government. These posts (in WhitePeopleTwitter and other subreddits) attracted a lot of comments suggesting violent action against them.

Just because Trump got re-elected doesn’t mean the American electorate is suddenly a bunch of dumb hicks, they always were.
