Its not that its a horrible thing to say, its that even the his base are like “um, wut? Does having TDS mean that someone is going to kill you? Is he suggesting I kill my parents if they dont like him?” Its literally demented. He’s coming across like he’s yelling at the clouds.

They don’t seem to understand that trump is psychologically unfit, it’s not just him having fun.

”Malignant narcissism is a severe personality construct combining Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) with antisocial traits, paranoia, and sadism, creating a destructive pattern of grandiosity, extreme entitlement, lack of empathy, manipulation, and a desire to harm others for personal gain.”

“Rob Reiner was a very liberal Democrat who had very strong criticism of President Trump,” Kurtz said. “And yet, I have to say,  that for the president of the United States to take this family tragedy in which both Reiner and his wife were killed and say that it’s because of ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome,’ I thought was well beneath him and beneath the office. And I think it would have been better if the president had made no comment.”

What dank hole do these people crawl out of? Where has Howard Kurtz been since 2015 that this is surprising to him?

Sounds like he should be fired from his pretend reporter role since he’s apparently missed out on the last 10 years of news.

It’s a warning shot to the administration. Trump is outliving his usefulness. The only one who doesn’t know that is Trump. Fox News needs to sell that to the base.

This is what the build up to an article 25 will look like. Fox has to lay the ground work. First they need to make it ok to criticize the president.

I wonder if trying to find redcap gear after donvict exits the stage will be like trying to find a Nazi uniform right after the fall of Germany…how many sudden “independents” will suddenly pop up everywhere? People that if they even remember Taco at all, will claim they didn’t really like the “tweeting”, LOL?

I wonder if those betting sites are offering a bet on the likelihood of a new “movement” that is astroturfed and given to all these sudden “independents”, too.

I’m actually wondering if the epstien bomb may be an additional part of it. IE if trump goes down, less focus goes on the files and they can be burried again.

I’d say a second hypothetical… obviously will be a conspiracy theory, but what if say in the near future trump is assasinated. Vance takes the throne… epstein file coverage goes down now that the primary implicated person is out.

Hell that could be the main driving force of the media backing trump. He was meant to burry them, but he made them a center focus

They are ok with the racism, the fascism, the numerous sexual assault and rape cases, the rape conviction, the being a russian stooge thing, the insurrection, being Epsteins friend before and after he was convicted of being a paedo, the stealing of top secret documents, the six bankruptcies and numerous failed businesses plus numerous fines for being corrupt etc, the 34 felony convictions etc etc etc and so on but, BUT being a cunt about an actor and director is beneath the office?

In the good timeline, the headline is

Fox News Panel Unanimously Condemns Trump,

it’s from 2015, and it’s the last headline about him before he abandons his presidential ambitions and then dies from colon cancer, penniless and with his obituary being only an “in other news” on talk radio.

Everything that comes out of his mouth is beneath the office.

When he says something awful like this, though, I figure there is probably another story that he’s trying to bury with manufactured outrage. I suspect Fox is on board and is with amplifying the non-news item to bury the real news item.

To condemn him would have been to say something like

“What Trump said was beyond disgusting and is another example of him acting the way you would expect a toddler to act. Anyone who supports him after this has something wrong with them”

And they should have said this right after the footage of him saying he would like to grab young girls by the pussy or when he did an impression of someone with a learning disability on stage.

    Too little, too late.

They don’t actually care. If this hadn’t happened so close to Kirk’s death they’d all be varying degrees of “who cares” to “yeah fuck Rob Reiner.”

A lot of them on Twitter are just like “fuck Rob Reiner” anyway. But yeah this celebrity death cycle with libs and cons shaming each other based on reactions is dumb as fuck.

Let’s apply the Kimmel rule. Trump should have his presidency cancelled for the horrendous shit he spewed about another’s death. If usa ever survives this they should put rules in place so this never happens again. If the rules are already in place then maybe america deserves all of this because they won’t even defend themselves from the known enemy within.

So this is why I heard Mom saying it was sad. She hasn’t seen his movies, but knows he’s super liberal and actually gave me whatever you call the vocal version of “side eye” and said “he actually came out as an atheist” as if I thought that was something rare or bad or unbelievable.

She somehow still has no idea about me tho, because I will dodge that conversation forever unless I have to directly and specifically address it.

I brought this up in another reply, but I’m probably finally moving back out this year. I had a good number of medical issues and surgeries causing me to be unable to work (being held together by staples and having to keep a large and bulky device physically tethered to my body for 2 weeks, for just one example) for the last free years is the problem.

But I’m past that and just waiting for the holiday season to be over to start again. I cannot throw myself back into the deep end of holiday issues at work right off the bat. I’ll already have less stamina than I did before, not starting work on the boss level lol.

Now since '21 the economy has gotten fucked up even more often than it has before that (I’m millennial), so I’m not looking forward to that but actually being able to have literally any spending money and freedom to just yell “fucking Christ on a damn cracker, shiiit” without consequence will be nice.

“he actually came out as an atheist”

I often wonder if the numbers of the religiously unaffiliated are not much, much higher, but some of the people are still afraid to come out of the closet…

Xtians always like to simultaneously beat their chest about their supposed numbers (and they are often wrong about them, I’ve noticed - they seem to consistently overestimate, by quite a lot, the percentage of Americans that are xtian) but simultaneously play the DARVO game - while they denigrate and try to ostracize and marginalize everyone not in their little book club, they act like it is THEY who are being “oppressed”.

If someone who is agnostic/atheist and has parents like that, or in-laws, etc…and they don’t want to be dealing with that all the time, well, I get it. They might just skip going to church and be mostly quiet about their positions on religion. And when they get polled, they might even list themselves as xtian.

Well I’m my case I’ve had to have multiple surgeries since about '21 to stay alive, and I’ve been unable to work in the mean time and had to unfortunately move back with them, and pretending to (well they know I’ve voted blue and hate Fox News) be semi neutral as far as being a “crazy leftist radical”.

But I’m about ready to start again soon, but I am not starting the process in the middle of holiday stuff, so hopefully '26 will be the year I can finally start living again. It feels like it’s similar in a lot of ways to what LGBT kids must go through while having Republicans for parents.

And given that one of my younger brothers is LGBT, using this same room before he got old enough to get out, he understands completely and says the same thing.
