- It’s not a bad thing to be a diplomat and a statesman. 2. Isn’t most Canadian media owned by the usa billionaire crowd?

Anything “businessy” puts the business ahead of the workers. This is just status quo, not news.

I liked the old black and white version better than the last remake in colour. I’m surprised that the dog is still alive and willing to come out of retirement.

I hope Canadian businesses and governments can utilize this so they can wean themselves from the big tit of US Tech.

I think it’s, like you said, the good feeling that results from quitting something that you were against. Music sounds better when you own it. You are no longer supporting greedy businesses (and/or fascist supporters). As an aside, I don’t need audiophile standards to enjoy music. My own introduction was listening to old 45 rpm singles on vinyl discs that had scratches, hisses and pops. It was the song that carried it through, not the sound quality.

“Should we give the staff more money?”. “Fuck no! It’s AI all the way, baby!” What a farce. We have become so disdainful of our fellow humans that we’d rather throw our extra money at a machine instead of a good living wage.

We are all at the tipping point. The people need to own their stuff. This whole private industry shareholders dance just makes things worse for most, but not for the private owners.

Not all americans. Some are salivating over the gigantically huge amounts of copper that will exist within.

My takeaway is that it’s not just Thiel holding these Armageddon and antichrist get-togethers. WTF? Have we so royally screwed up our forward progression by greed under capitalism that discussing apocalyptical events seems to be our only way out?

It’s hard to stop spies when your supreme leader opens the door for them.

I have an old pitch pipe. If I can’t tune by ear I get out the pitch pipe and blow into a certain note that matches the particular string. I then do my best to make them sound the same. I bought it once, back in the 80’s, and it still works!

I would think any human would be opposed to a bunch of machines sucking up all of their water and energy just to make a very few people rich and powerful beyond their wildest dreams. I’m still not convinced that it is beneficial and why is the tech/business/media world pushing this so hard? Value means a happy community, not owning a yacht for your private island.

And for america it’s the white south africans that are flooding the country. That sneaky elon.
Can I please have those unused pieces of alphabet? I have an idea.

Logic is common to all programming languages. Everything else is syntax and knowing what functions or utilities you can capitalize on. No matter how complex things seem under the hood it’s only one instruction at a time that is being processed. Speed and memory make it seem like multitasking. It’s as simple as “If this, then that”. Once you get the foundations of logic down, you’re good to go. Everything else is experience and time takes care of that. Good luck and have fun. As far as confidence goes my mantra throughout life, especially when faced with complex situations is a derisive “How hard can this be?”, while plodding forward.
Value is subjective. I know a lot of folk who think he’s worthless.

And you can stay out as well, Sio Silica.

In this day and age of Zoom I think he’s abusing the privilege.
