We’ve made a video explaining how countries make immigration decisions and how you can work within that system to get yourself out of the USA.

I always figured there would be a market for a consultancy which would go over your family history and tell you where you qualified for bloodline citizenship, or other similar accomodations.

For example, ISTR Germany had special programnes for descendants of people displaced by their genocides, and won’t Italy take people with ancestors several generations back?

Surprising you don’t see countries courting a “self-deportation” market too-- your local government doesn’t like you for social/political reasons? We’ll be happy to accept your skills and economic potential!

We offer pretty much the same as your consultancy for free. Drop an email to usa-campaign@transrescue.org if you want a free consult covering your options.

Italy will take people who have grandparents who were Italian citizens (with some details).

And your “self deportation” market is something we and others are actively trying to work on. It’s slow going - there’s a right wing everywhere. But yes, the current asylum system is bizarre - our passengers are mostly folks towards the end of college, those you’d want to bring in. We’ve got biochemists, software engineers, hardware engineers, psychiatrists, social workers, and attorneys here to the Netherlands. And they’re all sitting on their hands waiting for work approval. Instead of costing the NL money and making them miserable, the country could have more social workers (there’s a shortage), doctors (very much a shortage), etc.

That’s super-neat! TBH, I was imagining the commercial audience was more the people who threaten “if X doesn’t win, I’m leaving the country” each election rather than the life-or-death cases.
