Another similar article that’s also good: https://cleojournal.com/2014/08/21/no-vaginas-in-sight-the-queer-case-of-junior/

great stuff

The blurring just makes it feel more lewd not less. Maybe that’s the point I guess.

I was thinking of it maybe as some cool thing you might find in a cyberpunk lesbian fanfic

Very cool of Ted Kaczynski to rise from the grave and attend this conference under the name “Rathbone”

Not even Halloween?

So I started reading Stagtown again and quickly started to wonder why I ever stopped. It’s great and you all should check it out: https://www.webtoons.com/en/horror/stagtown/list?title_no=2532
I first read this as “please crap” and almost made a terrible and embarrassing mistake

The new She-Ra might be something you’d like and we’re showing it again on blorp in a bit if you’re interested. It’s been pretty fantastic so far.
There’s always the libs on Bluesky
Or some of these lemmy instances, now that I think about it. Also reddit. Plenty of places.

Thank you for providing these links!
People really just need to stop using that shit app and move on already.

For some reason I thought this was going to be about Vin Diesel and now I’m sad

I use CachyOS with an nvidia card just fine. Pop!OS I believe should also be fine.

It is?? Not familiar with the labrys symbolism but I’d think battle axes would just be kind of a general sword lesbian thing. I looked it up on Wikipedia and I can’t find a definitive link there.

I read elsewhere the movie has some terf dog whistles. Is this true or overblown?
My favorite sequential hermaphrodite is the slipper limpet snail:
The slipper limpet normally lives in stacks of up to 12 individuals, with the largest at the bottom and with increasingly smaller individuals stacked on top of one another. The largest and oldest animals, at the base of a pile are female, the younger and smaller animals at the top are male. If the females in the stack die, the largest of the males will become a female.
Yeah I feel like the 90’s is when Arnold films started getting meta. The post-Arnold era, if you will. He started getting more into comedy and/or lighthearted films, or Last Action Hero that was more of a commentary on the action genre. Even stuff like True Lies was a bit more self-referential as opposed to the more direct action roles of his 80s films. Some of his 80s films are fun but I definitely prefer the self-awareness of his 90s stuff more.
Maybe his more “human” role in Terminator 2 vs Terminator 1 was also an example of this.
