The coward deleted the tweet from his account after getting dog piled, but you can still see his tweet comparing “spawning” a baby to spawning AI agents
. Moist Critikal posted a video skewering him and going through some of the responses, though.
the dawning horror of realizing that your partner doesn’t love the child you had together
There it is again, that funny feeling
My dipshit wife: Can you help take care of our baby?
Me (AI coding genius): No
Hey twitter, get a load of my dipshit wife

its me. I am the dipshit wife

You’re OUR dipshit wife, comrade

OUR nagging wife!
later: say hello to elder care-bot
later: inheritance transfer expedizer bot
Roujin Z is about that.
What’s the fucking point of even having a kid for these kinds of people?
You ever heard the phrase “boomerism is a mindset”? This is what it entails when people say ‘boomer’.
Like the other guy said, he cares more about “his legacy” than the kid, thanks to this sense of being the protagonist of reality.
It’s not about the kids, it’s about the legacy that they represent.
Okay but I don’t think you’ll have much of a family legacy if your children are all iPad kids on steroids. These fuckers wanna be Philip II but are too lazy to teach Alexander how to run a Phalanx.
What if iPad Superintelligent?
it takes your village to raise my child
Well a village or a host of royal pages.
If i was talking like this i would hope the other parent hits me 10 different times
I would fully expect my wife to divorce me and sue me for alimony.
I fully support this child’s eventual decision to cut their father out of their life.
So much of AI issues were foretold by that one minute sketch, I love it so. Perhaps a better link here
I liked the crunchy one

I can still vaguely remember really enjoying reading books with my dad as a little kid. He did a good job with it, where we would riff on the story and have some fun with it and in doing so I had a big head start on media analysis just by joking around about classic kid’s stories. It also helped me become really funny. We concluded that Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk was entirely in the wrong and his mom should have known better than to trust him to sell the cow. The giant was juat living his best life as far as we know, he had some nice stuff but he also lived on a cloud so it’s really anyone’s guess how he got it. Plus he instinctively knows the smell of an Englishman and reacts with violence as is proper. He was probably just robbing a tall Scottish guy who lived on a big hill. Three Little Pigs seems like it has a lesson but it’s not clear what it is if there is one. Dont use cheap building material? But yeah, turning your voice into an AI audiobook is totally the same
Unironically i did just take “don’t cheap out on defenses” from three little pigs as a child
We speculated on why the pigs didnt just go in on a house together. It says they built them, which wolf proofing aside, it’s a lot more labor intensive to build a house of straw than wood or brick. 3 people working on ine large house with pooled resources could have a wolf breath proof fortress and the pig with the wood could frame the brick house and straw guy could insulate it. My dad is a lib but he got that this was the best move. But on the whole it feels like a story commissioned by Big Brick to sell more bricks.
And one that has gnawed at me forever, why is Humpty Dumpty always depicted as an egg? There is nothing in the text saying he’s an egg
And one that has gnawed at me forever, why is Humpty Dumpty always depicted as an egg? There is nothing in the text saying he’s an egg

I have tried to find an answer and the first known depiction of him as an egg was from Alice in Wonderland but Lewis Carrol had based the egg thing on previous illustrations. The original source is still debated. It may have been the name of a canon, some say it was Richard the 3rd. Some say the rhyme originated from a riddle where the answer was that humpty is an egg. It’s a legit mystery
Humpty is a trans icon

The OG Mandela Effect
Tbf Humpty Dumpty is a very egg-esk name and eggs break when they fall off walls.
Somehow.
Somehow.
This is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever read it being used for.
Great example of how ends and means are intertwined. The end isn’t merely to have something that sounds like your voice read the baby book.
The relationship is literally dialectical

I don’t see how the Chinese implementation of superintelligence will make things such as this more palatable. Hope they can pass the ‘Don’t be cringe with superintelligence’ law
I can’t believe all the hatred for nanny-bot in this thread

A new use for AI: Allowing horrible people who should never have been parents to abuse their children in even more fucked up and awful ways than ever before!
Audiobooks have been a thing for decades, this guy would never give a shit about his kid. The AI is just an excuse
