thinkin-lenin i wonder how senator gillibrand responded to biden’s allegations 6 years ago?

    just kidding, i remember perfectly:

Parson added: “I think that Biden should withdraw and any one or more of the candidates who aren’t running should restart their campaign because the Democratic primary isn’t over yet.”

Those arguments aren’t shared by many of the most high-profile figures in the Democratic party. The New York senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a leading advocate against sexual harassment and sexual assault, told reporters on Tuesday that she supported Biden amid the allegations.

“So when we say believe women, it’s for this explicit intention of making sure there’s space for all women to come forward to speak their truth, to be heard. And in this allegation, that is what Tara Reade has done,” Gillibrand said, according to CNN. “She has come forward, she has spoken, and they have done an investigation in several outlets. Those investigations Vice-President Biden has called for himself. Vice-President Biden has vehemently denied these allegations and I support Vice-President Biden.”

Indeed. If you support Israeli terrorists, #MeWho?!

If you speak out against Israel, American “journalists” will hunt down your exes and coerce them to say just about anything necessary to drop the hatchet.

I thought this was the grab em by the pussy era in American politics. ‘Murica!!

wonder why a high ranking sex pest would call for investigations into his own crimes. Certainly there’s no way for a vice president of the USA to influence the outcome of such an investigation. Plus, he denied it! We all know you aren’t allowed to deny something if you did it. Clearly he is innocent.

If he just kept murdering and assaulting Iraqi and afghan women he would have been fine!

Anyway, again, americans don’t consider non- americans human beings, the (authorized) “voices of the left” have shown themselves to just be tools for the glory of the death empire.

When the Dems take Congress in the Fall, the new Progressive Democratic Party should be just as harsh on Democratic corruption as they are on MAGA corruption, and they should investigate him, too. He belongs in prison.

You’re shockingly optimistic about how the Democrats will perform in the fall, to say nothing about their interest in pursuing corruption.

      • Sorry, it’s probably my fault the comment is still up and the user not banned because in my report I was a big meanie to the admins about their abject failure to take even the most minimal steps (that both ml and grad already have) towards preventing misogyny from appearing on the site, combined with their repeated failures to recognize and address it.

If I had just been nicer about their inability to identify and remove misogyny (I probably should have smiled more, too, the angry glares aren’t helping my case) and more clearly explained to them why the comment is misogynistic, then they wouldn’t have been forced to leave it up to teach me a lesson about how to ask politely.

Plus, obviously misogyny is actually great when it’s directed at terrible people I don’t like and I need to do a better job understanding when misogyny is acceptable and funny instead of unacceptable and mean.

Thank you for the report, the word is being added to the slur filter. If you would like to take a more active role in moderating the site you are welcome to send in a mod application.

          • That sounds like a terrible idea. I don’t remember what questions the application asks, so I’ll wing it.

Why do you want to be a mod?

            I don’t, please don’t make me.

            What’s your moderation philosophy?

Ban first, ask questions never, they clearly deserved it. I should be able to delete comments/posts from anyone.

Two users are arguing and reporting each others posts, what do you do?

            Whose side am I on?

You really don’t care about the argument.

            Ban them both.

They’re arguing about whether frogs or toads are cooler, though, does that really mean you’d ban them both?

You said I didn’t have a side. I guess I’d give whoever’s on team toad a warning instead of a ban.

You’re going to cause endless struggle sessions.

I told you not to make me a mod.

Which comms do you want to mod?

I’m serious, please don’t make me. If you really still insist after I’ve failed this application, at least let me make Trying2ModMyself first.

For what it’s is worth I don’t think it would be a terrible idea. You are just as qualified as any other and clearly care about an issue with the site. There are no expectations or obligations beyond removing posts or comments that violate the code of conduct. That said I’m sure you know yourself better than I so I will respect your decision either way and I do thank you for the reports and callouts they are appreciated
