I see this as a single big continent, with the eastern part being a snowy, desolate tundra

It’s all true and I’ve been struggling with my body image for the last 20 years 🥲

Too bad EW might be nazis, or really brainwormed edgelords at best https://dancollen.medium.com/electric-wizard-releases-music-on-label-known-for-nazi-themed-metal-caa8b35b88c2 plus they used some nazi symbols in their work and on their gear

Vampire Survivors had it, kinda. It was just miniboss drops, random, like a typical hack and slash, but opening a chest looked like a silly slot machine animation jacking straight into my gambler brain (I don’t actually gamble - I have many other bad habits but I realized I might be wired dangerously back when I played cards for small sums of money with my classmates as a teenager. So I actively swore off gambling and never fell for it, apart from “fake” gambling in video games, where I’m always reminded of why I shouldn’t touch it in real life)

This reminds me of Ursula Le Guin’s “bag theory”: that the first tool humans developed, was not a weapon which is usually taught, like a spear, but rather, a bag, to carry things: for example for berries we picked. A nice reframe from the violent status quo.

No, Romanian. The majority of Romani people here are however from Romania, hence the connection

I dated a Romanian woman who hated the Romani people, she said they made her ashamed to speak the same language. We didn’t really work out in the end.

Another Romanian woman whom I met a few times, upon hearing this went “lol why were you together with a racist”. Fair question, honestly. We didn’t work out either, but for different reasons.

Why tf do ppl care, who even has notifications on for others starting games. You message me about it, I block your ass

The solution is to only join servers with a strict 18+ policy and instant ban if anybody even implies they are underage. Even better, a strict 25+ policy

It does say Kerala though

Yeah, but I am starting to suspect I’m a bad driver

I had once gone into a ditch (spinned out on an icy road) and landed in deep snow, also no injuries. This felt similar, no sudden crash, just a dangerous loss of control. I also kinda liked my car (as much as I can like a car, that is), and it sucks that I need to get a new one now.

The woman whose car I hit said she was in a few as well, also not her fault. Bad luck indeed. I apologized profusely, and she said that she knows it was obviously not on purpose and that shit happens.

If you mean the definite form, then no, Polish doesn’t have it. Learning English as a kid was difficult because no teacher could explain it to me in an understandable way.

I’ve been learning a little Romanian lately though and it is there. Romanian is such a weird language. The vocabulary is like a mixture of five other languages, the grammar has gendered words and conjugations, yet it has a strict word order, unlike Polish that thanks to the complex grammar allows for very free reordering.

From now on I’m calling my girlfriend “my microscopic mite”

It was the fleas, leave rats alone

I know the exact video you reference and yeah, that was clearly not a healthy way of doing exercise. I felt bad for his friends, and while I personally work out a lot (probably also plenty of unhealthy body image, but at the same time I am finally starting to like what I see in the mirror, and I do feel very good thanks to that), I could not imagine doing what he did without burning out to a complete husk

Chemistry has never been my strong suit. But… is metal alloys having lower melting points than the constituent metals (I think that is true at least?) related to the same mechanic?
