They couldn’t just refer to it as the Elon Musk act because it was aimed specifically at him. No, gotta come up with a dumbass fucking acronym. The world superpower, ladies and gentlemen.

Either that or it was more on the lines of “having personal appliances that go unused ~99% of the time is wasteful and unideal, preferably we would live a more communal life where appliances are shared”. Which isn’t actually a bad take at all.
They’re all great but the Vietnamese ones especially are stunning!
…because china is at the very least approaching superpower status and is literally right next door? Their approach to politics really is 100% vibes based…
Oh, absolutely. He sees it himself. Fortunately (a) in Australia it’s partly subsidised and the loans are only indexed against inflation, and (b) he’s obviously enjoying it. Plus the few units that actually belong in a university are really interesting (but not as you say enough to justify the course being at a uni).
Even between the life sciences and trades. I just finished a BS in biology as a mature student and a close friend is doing his in computer science part time, and the difference in what we have to do… So much of his assessed work can be entirely unsourced because it’s literally just coding. He’s a clever guy and was given an award for placing in the top 100 students institution-wide last year (~40k students), but I do wonder how many of the other 99 were in similar courses!
I mean… Just a beer? How much is he paying? Can I go around afterwards saying he’s such a loser he has to pay people to drink with him? Because if he paid enough that would be worth it ngl
…I mean, laughing at the fascist has a slightly different connotation to having a friendly conversation with the fascist, yes.
Not really, the Nazi salute is the so-called “Roman” salute, which is itself a pretty recent invention. They’re the same thing. Like the swastika, it is completely corrupted outside of certain very specific contexts.
obviously the mods are liberals too
Hahaha. The boonta vista discord has a ben garrison cum edits channel, hadn’t been updated in months last I checked. I should see if there’s anything new there.
These people are simply not irony poisoned enough to tolerate the posting levels on hexbear.net
Sad, really.
Would truly be an nwordcountbot for our times.
I signed up for an account here right as r/CTH was banned, but never really used it. Came back after a few years to post/comment once or twice but it never stuck. I come back now, however many years later, to discover that there is a hexbear-sicko-woke sticker.
I don’t know what exactly happened here but I like it.
Video games were a mistake
Evergreen post. Queen of the dipshits right here. I can understand still finding something meaningful in a kid’s book to some extent. But if that’s date night conversation you might need to reconsider your relationship to media. And like, if she’d called him obnoxious for laughing, that would be one thing, but calling him an idiot really suggests that she doesn’t in fact realise that animal farm literally is a children’s book.
It’s from The Black Panther so imo it’s 1,000,000% proto-kelly, and very good at that! Makes me wonder what Kelly’s actual influences are because this is just way too much like something he would do.
In addition to this being from The Black Panther (so this should probably be read something like a Kelly comic, ie, satirical of reactionary white media), I think all three characters are meant to be the same people, not just the cracker in the background. So I think it’s also commenting on individuals becoming radicalised and therefore hated in addition to the movement.
Best news all day tbh
