My personal experience uploading decently popular satire on multiple platforms is that, when comparing the reactions I get on various social media, Lemmy has the undisputed worst reactions on two topics: sexism and racism.
Anything satirizing sexist issues will get accused of being a psyop, bot content, trying to create dissent, misandry, etc. with some users convinced that there’s an ongoing campaign to “push” a narrative about men on the platform.
Which is interesting given that Lemmy users love to circlejerk about being more progressive than the rest of the Internet.
You’re not alone, I’m with you!
You are alone, and [dog whistle homophobia with an overtly ableist remark]!

I’ve seen a lot of misandry on lemmy in the last weeks
I overwhelmingly see misogyny on here. Admittedly, not nearly as much misogyny as at The Old Place, but legitimate misandry is much rarer.

Blistering hate is all that gets me through the day sometimes
hate, spite, and a sip of coffee.
i just need some cigarettes for the full parisian. my wife and i call this the half parisian
It really is a superpower, sipping on that haterade, day after day.
Fuck man…kind.
Mick Foley: “The hell did I do?!”
Lots of misogyny masked as complaint about misandry.
Tale as old as time
