  • Just shy of 10 hours on decals.

Jeeeeeeebus. I commend your patience! I’ve got my RG Zeta standing by, ready for decals… the base stickers look like trash though, and I’m not sure I have the willpower to follow through on waterslides. Hell, I barely want to touch it because of the frame inconsistency.

I bought it on impulse when it was on sale.

Same lol. Never built mine though. >_>

    I hated the color

From the start for me. I guess it follows with GMs originally being a light mint color but… yeah no. Mine was also intended for a redeco. Never made it past getting packed up to move, and then getting hopelessly backlogged.

And to be 100% transparent, this is not my original design. I found it online and changed the colors a little bit.

Ain’t nothing wrong with that. Everyone gets their inspiration from somewhere. My current dream custom is a G3-inspired Unicorn, with lavender/purple psychoframe. Someone else posted it as line art a few years back, but it was love at first sight.

  • I find guided meditation the easiest to follow. The “empty your head” thing I don’t think is possible for me. So let’s say it’s guided audio on deep breathing and a countdown from 20. Breathing in, I imagine the number taking shape. Could be a sports jersey, someone’s upcoming birthday or anniversary, anything associated with the number. Hold the breath, let the number solidify. Exhale, the number fades or gets blown away. Repeat, letting the audio keep me on track. My mind will wander. It’s inconsequential. The audio will either bring me back, or not. I can try again later.

The most important thing is that any form of mediation takes practice. It’s a skill like any other. It’s often suggested in therapeutic settings, usually for grounding etc. But it should be practiced while not in distress for it to be reliably there to lean on for the time you really need it.
