Is there a way to get rid of the adhesive residue from patches that doesn’t irritate the skin? Patches have been a happy medium between pills and injections for me (cause stabbing myself with a metal spike was too scary kitty-cri ), but this is kinda annoying.

    • i love patches! (and personally don’t have much of an alternative) for the least irritation, i just gently scrub it with soap every shower and it’s normally gone by the time i cycle back to that location. if i need to clean it immediately, i’ll gently rub the area with an alcohol swab. if the irritation is too much maybe moisturise afterwards as well

I’ve seen people mentioning baby oil for removal. You could give that one a try. Alternatively, isopropanol or acetone are very efficient at removing adhesives, but not so gentle on the skin.
