Honestly a good workaround for places where bathrooms must be gendered by law. Folks use whatever they want and if the cops find out the owner just says that they used the right bathroom based on whatever mythology means that person used the right bathroom by law.

I went to a furry con some time ago and there were signs up all around the bathrooms from the hotel stating their bathrooms were gender neutral. Cool stuff, wish it stayed like that after the con and like everywhere forever
PAX unplugged does this too which is awesome
Anthrocon does this with the entire convention center’s bathrooms as well as the flagship hotel’s bathrooms. Definitely one of the best changes they’ve done since I started going to that convention.
Nothing indicates either door is a restroom. That’s an assumption we’re bringing into this.

Kitchen doors are frequently like that too. Maybe it’s two different restaurants (Sun Child & Moon Child) that share the same dining area? Wonder what types of cuisine each serve
You also see those on doors anywhere someone might need to open a door with their hands full.
