forgot the format existed but was reminded when I saw a recent good quality DS9 upscale which uses LD as source for the earlier seasons
Just imagine if we didn’t abandon this technology, we could have discs the size of entire rooms, that require a team of a dozen stout men to lift it whenever you want to play it.
