Redecked a dock. The pressure washing at the end was the most satisfying part. Happily there was very little rot on the 2x6 runners and none on the 4x4 posts. I think it’ll look great with some of that deck repair paint glopped on!
That’s some big dock energy
Very nice job! Please tell me you placed a Halloween skeleton under one of the planks lol
Too many cypress knees. Almost no space under there. I’m going to have to raise or raze the whole thing in less then ten years I’m estimating
How many docks would a dock deck, if a dock could deck docks?
How many docks did a deck dock, if a dock did deck docks
“Redecked a dock” is just fun to say.
That’s some nice work! I like it being around the tree. You shined it up really pretty!

A couple of old running gears from disused hay racks out in the grove, some welded up tubing and galvanized pipe. I built that thing 15 years ago.
hah, I’ve seen that movie ! the chronicles of redeck
Hell yeah, brother!
Nice work!
But have you ever redocked a deck?
Is it even possible? Once you make it a dock does it stop being a dock? Maybe if the water dries up, but you refill it, you’ve redocked a deck.
Looks great. Can I come over and cast a line? I’ll bring a 6 pack and a trout whistle
No trout in here but you’re free to come drink and whistle. Obligatory John Prine - Whistle and Fish
Can I ask how much that ran you? I have a small front porch and steps I need to do the same thing with.
$375 for the wood, fasteners and paint and a roller. To build from scratch it’d be about double that.
You can say that title with a dentist in your mouth
I thought the yellow drill was a rubber duck for a moment so it’d be a duck dock redeck. Not phallic enough for other vowels.
Came here to ask about the structure/foundation holding everything up. It was answered. Looks good!
That final photo: the work was worth it that dock is gorgeous. Dock party?
Eventually. Always something else to finish before I can celebrate!
