I’d also strongly consider getting some sensors going in the basement and crawlspace to monitor the humidity and temp. You’d have real data and you can set an alarm level.

Not an HVAC guy but I’m confused by your house, you have a basement and a crawlspace? Are they connected somehow? If the puddles in the crawlspace could be seeping into the basement then I’d say yes. Basements are known for being damp though, has there been a ton of rain?
Also your HVAC guy was really a jackass if he directed the condensation line into your crawlspace.
In the short term, fix the condensation line and maybe get a dehumidifier going in the basement. Those boxes will get moldy fast.

Getting rid of Bondi stalled the process some. I imagine Todd will be gone soon too.

Looks so nice, about 3x my own dust collection plans. Why metal duct and not PVC?
I have not studied them enough but my soffits could really use improved venting too. This will probably be my next step. I think poor circulation is why my attic gets so hot. My roof will need replacing in a year or two, I may replace my insulation with spray foam then.
I’m gathering data about the temperature difference in the attic now vs before my crazy pipe vent. I’ll post it when I’ve got a couple of weeks worth.
Agreed. It’s capped on the roof but I stuffed it inside the attic too for good measure.
It’s from the crawlspace under my house, not a living space at all

Huh? $154 at close, how is that “below” a $135 IPO launch price?
Yes it’s sad and old but there’s about 8" of it. There’s an attic vent in the roof and a vapor barrier in the crawlspace.
Attic is vented but it does little good without a decent wind. Crawlspace is slightly cooler than outside ambient air, call it 85° in June. The same wind that would help the attic would also remove the cool from the crawlspace I think? Attic is insulated with old old blown fiberglass and then a layer of newer rolled fiberglass - not terrible insulation actually. Also the crawlspace is insulated from the house with spray foam insulation.

Look at all those tools… installed new studs… apparently measured twice and cut once. Hardly seems dull

Hmmm, I can’t tell you what the fuck is happening in my government here in the USA

This will never make up for Google dropping their carbon neutral pledge
If you solved a shocking outlet then that’s the most important & dangerous thing put to bed. Kudos & good job. Next time it doesn’t have to be an outdoor box, a cheap handy box would have worked. Also if your circuit has yellow (20 amp) Romex then all of it should be 20 amp wire. I just had to fix this very thing in a remodel where I added a couple of outlets. Inspectors jump on stuff like this but you’re home free…well until you sell
