“No safe way to do it”: quite possibly. There is risk in many activities. This is why frameworks like RACK (risk aware consensual kink) exist alongside SSC (safe, sane, and consensual). To use a metaphor, driving a car is risky, but we do it anyway while adding safety features to roads and vehicles to reduce that risk. It’s impossible to make it completely safe.

If studying is something you’ve struggled with for 6 years (I’m assuming trying several ways to force yourself over those years without success) then it might behoove you to get screened for ADHD or other learning disabilities. I dropped out of my engineering program and only years later understood why I couldn’t deal with it.

I get that nuclear has benefits and risks, but if we’re playing Russian roulette, even with an infinitely large chamber, I’d still like there to be as few bullets in there as possible. Especially after seeing the gun go off a few times, some people would just rather not play at all, even the ones that do the equivalent of smoking a pack a day of Coal-metaphor branded cigarettes. I can understand that even if I might not agree.
