Slàinte!
Thanks to Plumbers Local 130, we’re ready for St. Patrick’s Day.
I bought a green Monster Energy Ultra today in honour of my Irish roots.
They’re putting chemicals in the water that’s turning the friggin frogs Irish!

I wish I had thought of that.
Whats pissing in the river got to do with st patricks? Oh, oooh
The síneadh fada in sláinte is the wrong direction. Slàinte is Scots Gaelic.
There’s literally only one diacritic in Gaeilge and Americans still fuck it up lol
Its because there’s no actual irish or gaelic people in america
It’s always impressive to me when politicians and their aides are so fucking dumb they don’t triple check something they assume must already be right. Check it anyway, dummies. Before google that was a super pain in the ass but now the fucking fantastic error-checking machine rectangle is in everybody’s pocket.
The tradition of dyeing the river green arose by accident in 1961 when plumbers were using fluorescein dye to trace sources of illegal pollution discharge into the river. The plumbers then proposed a continuing celebration to the administration of the city’s Irish-American mayor Richard J. Daley. The dyeing of the river is still sponsored by the local plumbers union. Environmental concerns disallowed the use of fluorescein for this purpose, since it was shown to be harmful to the river.
The parade committee switched to a mix involving forty pounds of powdered vegetable dye. Though the committee closely guards the exact formula, they insist that it has been tested and verified safe for the environment.

Though the committee closely guards the exact formula
Why do they need a secret green vegetable river dye? What is gained from that?
So nobody else can tell them they’re full of shit and that it is harmful
Somebody could steal their original recipe of 11 herbs and spices.
Peeing out that ecto cooler.
