I didn’t do much this week other than practice some meditation which has helped. Tomorrow gonna get back to my reading and course work for hvac then maybe dipping into some electrical and maintenance courses. I was happy my car passed smog inspection at least so I’ll be able to mess with it this year.Did one trail run and a few bike rides, will do 3rd phys. ther. session today, no chess or language training this week. Next week exercise will increase and might start reading Journey to the West.
Today is my last day of vacation and I’m also sick so the vibes are horrible. But I managed to make some progress this week.
I started using my drumming practice pad more often. I also started reading How Not To Age by Dr Michael Greger. It’s a banger, like all of his books.
Next week I want to continue reading and using the practice pad regularly

Went to the gym 4 times last week. Focusing on losing weight. I’m doing cardio for once and it’s still boring, but I want to be skinny rather than muscular and heavy. 30-45 minutes, I do cycling, jogging and walking on a stair master, and finish with a few core exercises. I’m feeling good and motivated.
i can’t believe all the weight i lost jogging. if i had known it worked so well for me (even better than swimming) of have bitten the bullet way sooner
Not slinking back to one old habit/obsession I had even when the opportunity comes up feels good, it feels nice not to feel so helpless chasing something you know isn’t gonna happen/won’t make you happy anyway. Taking a step back breathing and walking away is liberating
