Stickied good luck
My 2025 was not great. My dog died this year and I had 2 health issues that each lasted for months. On the positive side, I made a lot of progress with my habits and routines. I started running regularly and meditating around 5 days a week. At the end of the year I started playing in a band again, which is the best thing that happened to me in years.
My priorities for 2026 are:
- Relax
- Socialize
- Exercise
- Art
Some of my goals for 2026:
- continue running and meditating 5 days a week
- practice guitar and drums regularly
- actually finish and record my songs instead of getting bored with them and moving on to the next idea after writing 70% of the song
- read regularly (ideally before bed instead of screens)
- buy a DSLR camera
I’m cautiously optimistic for 2026 and eager to try my best. Good luck everybody!

How was your 2025?
I was in the clouds in the first half. Got in the best shape of my adult life and had a real chance at developing a romantic relationship. The second half was more or less a disaster. Suffered burnout after burnout thanks to work, I stopped working out as a result, romance didn’t blossom, and my relationship with my brother is damaged. Just about the only positive was moving out on my own, which had helped a bit with being able to recharge myself.
For 2026 I want to just focus more on giving myself more time to just enjoy life. Take more (waaaay more) time off from work. Get back in shape. Confront the relationship issues I’ve had.
