Love how even Mozilla doesn’t bother to cater to anyone but the business class now.

Sign of a very normal and healthy economy.

  • we are all businesses in this radiant future.

    • I don’t have hobbies, I have hustles.
    • I don’t work out, I level up my grind.
    • I don’t have interests or an identity, I build and grow my brand.
    • I don’t have a home, I have a home office.
    • I don’t have a cat, I have an intern.

The only good things Mozilla does anymore are:

    1. The MDN webdocs
    2. The mediocre web browser (that doesn’t even implement many of the newer APIs detailed by their own damn company) where the biggest thing it has going for it is “at least it’s not Google Chrome”.

Evidently my partner’s boss’s wife, a college professor is using it to make course materials. It’s time for the gig economy to make way for the GIGO economy.

I really don’t get how so many people are doing that, like…do they even read the stuff AI puts out? I get that it presents itself as a way to “save time” with work, but it doesn’t actually do a competent job at all. Maybe I just have higher standards for my work, but I’m surprised that “actually does what it is supposed to” is apparently too high of a standard and people would rather just have slop.

Really surprising how much effort people want to put into not having to think. Teaching was my favorite part of grad school; I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to have creative control over your own lesson plans etc rather than outsourcing them to a computer. Or what you’re supposed to do with the output.

I think it was with you, Owl. But yeah, almost half the ads have the words “for your business” and market under the presumption everyone is a business owner and workers don’t exist anymore.

With wealth inequality at an all time high, the porks have decided to lift the burden of consuming off us peasants and the rich will do all the consumption FOR us! You know, the most miserly people on earth.
