Nah, it was for stepping on the admins toes too many times by abusing site mechanics, I remember how it happened.
SRD and Drama used to have a big feud as that post demonstrates and over time SRD filtered out the more reactionary types while Drama didn’t but it was still not a pure chud hub.

I’ve spent an unfortunate amount of time trying to bully them into paying attention to real politics. They’re honestly a bunch of nihilists who don’t believe they stand for anything but mostly take center-right talking points. They know Trump can’t be taken seriously, so their support for him is ironic, and the unironic Trump supporters are bullied off of the frontpage.
It’s a cesspit but you can abuse the stupid (they are consistent in their application of freedom of speech as a value; that’s the drama) and I made more of a difference writing about fascism there than I did on reddit. But I’m inclined to get out of the game. YMMV.
