Liberals that treat poc like paragons of virtue make me uneasy. I can never tell if they secretly harbor racist thoughts about me or thinking of some weird fetish while talking to me. Maybe both.

They talk about us like they talk about Jesus. A lot of emphasis on how he suffered on the cross; not a peep about him chasing money changers with a whip.
I have the exact same feeling with liberal cishets talking about gay and trans people and liberal men talking about women, there’s just something fundamentally dehumanizing in how they view marginalized people. They’re playing a game of political football with us, and we’re not on their team, we’re the ball.
