On reddit-logo politics the Brandon fart-huffers keep saying “Biden is doing what most Americans want” on the border and then posting polls to prove it. Simultaneously, if there’s any mention of his approval ratings or his chances of winning reelection, then all polls are fundamentally flawed and should not be trusted because the only people who ever participate in them are old fogeys with landlines.

    Which way, Brandon Bros?

“Republicans voted against this immoral and blatantly fascist act” isn’t the own they think it is

Would be better if that was the reason they didn’t vote for it.

Still continues to show there’s never a point to compromise with gop when they’ll water down everything then still torpedo it when it’s exactly what they want

Have our resident liberal lurkers got anything to add regarding this news? They were pretty chatty yesterday blowing smoke up Biden’s ass in multiple threads, but pretty quiet today

it’s fine because it’ll help the border and the courts will strike it down

      What I’ve seen so far

Helping “the border” instead of helping other human beings while using those humans as a political ball for our dogshit courts to juggle. Great stuff!

      r/politics thread

      -–

This “We’re surrounded by people who hate.” comment thread caught my eye.

Mike Johnson already came out this morning and called this “too little, too late”. That’s their spin

I notice the Speaker keeps echoing the racist Great Replacement Theory and nobody seems to care.

It’s not that people don’t care, it’s that it’s really a “throw it on the pile” situation.

A large percentage agree. THAT’S the problem. We’re surrounded by people who hate. It’s gross.

And they’ll just invent other things to get angry about. Whatever Biden gives them they will ignore and figure out a new line of attack to feed their base with rage so they vote for Trump.

Everyone (not here) was mad at me when i said i preferred trump over biden a couple of years ago because their domestic policy was indistinguishable and trump’s foreign policy was more isolationary

Went to that Twitter account to self harm on the clock. Here are other highlights:

BREAKING: New reporting indicates that President Biden has significantly decreased inflation, including decreasing prices for groceries and gas.

Doesn’t even know that less inflation is different from deflation

BREAKING: Due to President Biden’s hard work on lowering costs, Costco’s new Finance Chief has announced $1.50 hot dogs are here to stay.

    Reader added context:

Costco’s $1.50 combo is a strategic decision, known as a loss-leader: The company is willing to lose money selling the hot dogs at that price as long as it helps Costco draw in and retain customers

And then some shit that credits biden for peace talks (which instreal rejected!) and ignores his support for genocide). I can’t look at this lib shit any longer

We’ve all been fooled into thinking that Trump would be the one who brings fascism to America, but it turns out to be Biden after all.

I used to think that Trump would be the fascist candidate and even defended voting for Biden, but with the recent incidents with campus protests crackdown and now this, it is no longer deniable that Biden is the true competent fascist they’ve been warning about.

Those conservatives will look really silly when they call him a communist after he hands down that decision! It’s not as if they have done that for every liberal president since communism came to be in the USSR
