Americans will never learn

edit: the thread. Fortunately there are some people talking about long covid and effects on the immune system in there. But also a ton of brainworms.

It will never be short of amazing the idea that the mRNA used to create spike protein would create a longer lasting effect than the little machine designed to infect cells to not only create spike proteins but also replicate the little machine of which the spike protein is a functional part, lyse the cell, and infect other cells. The cherry on top is that viruses do “shed!” It’s like being in the Sahara at night and worrying that a tractor is going to run you over. Not only is the tractor probably not going to be a tool used against you, nature has plenty of ways to rip you to shreds.

It’s like if I wanted to harm you with a covid vaccine, I would simply put covid in it.

maybe we should leave a comment about how the vaccine has actually mutated people so much that they’re now producing self-replicating exosomes

maybe we can get them to wear masks if we abide by their silly fanfiction rules

No one was wearing masks. It’s not just Americans.

yea, the ladder of ceasing mask usage goes from Americans > other Anglos > Europeans > Rest of the world > Asians

I don’t think people are really wearing masks in China either so…yea

I maintain that the only reason I only got omicron while living in densely populated burdgerland is that I had the good fortune to be living is a mostly asian neighborhood, where health and masking is taken more seriously. I mean I was and still am cautious, it’s not like I wasn’t doing anything for myself, but I saw people masking where I live even when a 10 minute drive to the next town would have me see barely any.

As part of my survival strategy, I will be making every effort to live in asian neighborhoods for as long as I’m in America.

living around Asian people just makes everything better

when white people describe their high school experience, and how it sucked ass, I can’t ever imagine Asians acting like that lmao

I’m vaxxed, my family is vaxxed, majority of our community is as well. That said, this year has been shit. Everyone is constantly sick, plans are getting cancled or delayed every other week. I thought post quarantine was bad due to our immune systems not being as exposed for a couple years, but this year is definitely worse.

yeah unfortunately that whole “immunity debt” thing (in its popular conception) is a myth. Immunity is not a muscle that atrophies when not used. I’m sorry though meow-hug things are increasingly tough these days it feels. 2023 was like the worst year of my life lol. Stay masked and take the precautions you can. I hope things are a bit easier on you this year.

You still probably got Covid, perhaps multiple times, and it is still weakening all sorts of internal systems via endothelial damage and such.

Also, having ever been vaxxed is essentially worthless if it’s not kept up-to-date.

Even up-to-date boosters will really only protect you from serious acute Covid, unfortunately. I got the Novavax in October, and had Covid this past month. No symptoms except fatigue, but I am still fatigued a week after testing negative.

In that the government specifically pushed to not have us take the proper precautions against covid it is infact bio warfare. I am open to the idea about fort detrich but that doesn’t matter. What matters is we can watch the government tripping over their own dick about it every chance they get.

right okay I understand everyone saying this actually is biowarfare, fort detrick or not, and I agree. But the way you understand that is not the way this person understands that. This person’s understanding of biological warfare is “spraying stuff in the sky.” This person also does not understand that the biological warfare is covid, and our let er rip policy - he believes covid and the “mild annoying cold” are the result of something else.

Ive stayed up to date with my vaxxes, but one of the guys i hung out with this past weekend got me infected - and i just found out he hasnt gotten any of the boosters. Pretty annoyed because this was my first time getting it, and he’s gotten it twice in the past year. I wouldn’t have hung out with him if i knew he wasn’t fully vaxxed in the first place, so im a bit irritated.

cause this is a real phenomenon? People complain about being sick for months on end, then you mention covid and they say no can’t be that, covid’s over. Not too much of a jump to imagine some chud with brainworms chalking it up to a CIA bioweapon the same way covid was a Chinese bioweapon.

haha i’ve seen the imgur. However the flu and the common cold and RSV and whatever else is not a CIA bioweapon and that is what these people are getting sick with after Covid destroys their immune system so I’m still right (although they also are getting infected with covid and probably also dealing with long covid and also the reason they’re getting sick so often is covid in the first place so maybe like half right lol)

right but they’re more susceptible to them because of the 2019 Ft Detrick bioweapon (sounds like we agree)

Also the majority of those illnesses are just regular old COVID, not RSV. Nobody knows because the CDC doesn’t provide testing anymore. Oh well! (COVID is still 100x more contagious than other crap so we can assume most of it is COVID)

The fact that they named the viruses instead of just said “I’ve been sick since September” does make me think they tested. Also the fact that they say they did have Covid-most people who don’t test would never admit it might be Covid

      Probably the covid brain damage.

  • My company had its annual in-person kickoff event a couple of weeks ago. The following week, I think nearly a third of the company was either out sick, or working with their cameras off in Zoom meetings explaining “I’m really sick” yea

Absolute miracle that I somehow didn’t catch it
