Sequel trilogy was bad and “Duel of Fates” with Anakin and Obi wan is still a top tier scene. Even if you take out all the memes. Hell there’s many good scenes in the prequels. It’s not perfect though, Ep 1 specifically has way too much politics of trade wars and federation drama.

Can’t really remember any good battles or fights from any of the three sequel movies.

Completely ignoring the chud “mary sue” or “black guy” complaints… The biggest problem was the lack of direction.

One writer wanted Rey to have a linked lineage and be “the chosen one” while the other wanted to take a different approach and have a “everyone can be a hero and does not have to be chosen.” Each movie the other writer retconed what the other set up.

• The whole dagger matching the crash site was ass
• The Chewbacca death fake out was stupid
• General hux was absolutely wasted
• The sith language corrupting c3po only for that to be a fake out was ass
• rey was training to duel lightsaber weild via her staff combat and that was wasted. ,(I think Duel of Fates would have been less hated)
• no explanation on how Maz Kanta got Luke’s lightsaber
• Palpatine coming back with no explanation
• sith holocron being a Mcguffin
• the ending of Rise of Skywalker. What the hell was that
• Mara Jade erasure. Luke deserved a baddie.

I thought force awakens was okay The last Jedi wasn’t great Rise of Skywalker is unwatchable

But then why are there no sequel memes? Except for “somehow X returned”, which is purely derogatory towards the sequels.
