minus-squareQueenHawlSera@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1arrow-down8·3 天前The sequels aren’t even bad, people just freaked out because “omg woman protagonist” I’m tired of hearing how Rey is a Mary Sue when there’s no real proof of that. “OMG she can fly the Millenium Falcon.” Not very well, she even damages it and has to get Han to fix it. “She beat Kylo Ren in a saber fight!” No she barely came to a draw against a man trying his damndest not to bleed out from a Bowcaster shot. If Rey was a guy, half of the complaints about the sequels wouldn’t exist.

Rey bumbles along randomly. And then randomly gains super jedi powers in an almost completely unmotivated way. There is no compelling story arc.
