LACOFD said there appeared to be a slow leak from a tank. Video from Citizen.com shows an orange yellow haze surrounding the area.
La Habra’s mayor said on Facebook that the chemical leak has been contained but residents and businesses within a mile radius of the scene were asked to shelter-in-place.
Fire officials announced at 2:30 p.m. that the incident had stabilized and all shelter-in-place orders have been lifted.
Hazmat crews mitigated the leak and the plume dissipated. Active air monitoring is in place, and officials said there is no active risk to residents.
The fire department said they evaluated at least three employees at the site where fumes were leaking from the tank but there are no reports of anyone being transported to the hospital.
Cypress Street is closed between Lambert Road and La Habra Boulevard.

A masterful stroke once again, Mr. Kojima
Wait, which gender is orange?

Protestant
Literally some protestant freaks down the road from me who celebrate Orangemen’s Day and put out a big sign and I had to look up what it was.
I thought the Catholics were orange?
no, they’re green

NO2, probably from concentrated nitric acid.
So THAT’S where I put my orange smoke. :(
Everyone point and laugh at how chuds unironically think they’re the smart ones and can run everything well on virtue of being crackers. Absolutely delusional.
