Good? In what world was a sequel to that ever going to hit? It was a wonderfully weird fluke in popularity. I wonder if they’ve considered whether Gerwig and the others are demanding pay they know the studio won’t accept on purpose.
They had a really good marketing run and Ryan Gosling.
I adore Ryan gosling.
I’m a little irritated he’ll be playing Johnny Blaze in the upcoming Ghost Rider movie. I like him, just not for that part.
He is likely an automaton

Maybe, just maybe: not everything needs a sequel.
I know the corpos like it because it tends to reduce their risk. But movie shovelware is one giant reason why that industry is in crisis, so maybe it’s time to put on the big boy pants and take the risks on new IPs.
But it is really funny when they bomb.
If there’s going to be a Barbie 2, there has to be an Oppenheimer 2 to round out the cinematic universe.
Oppenheimer already has a sequel, Godzilla Minus One.

The first one was perfect. It doesn’t need a sequel.
Barbie 2 = Grease 2
If it pisses of conservatives I’m all for it.
