i remember thinking that the 50th anniversary of star trek was weak af but chocked it up to the fact that it wasn’t on tv anymore so i was happy to learn that discovery was about to become a thing.
now we have as many shows on tv as there were back during the 30th anniversary, but there’s seemingly still no celebration so this discovery is nice since it gives us something to celebrate for the 60th anniversary.
