Are they going to learn a new language? Lots of these people enroll their kids at international schools that teach in English and there are many gentrified places in big cities where you don’t need the local language
As an english speaker and spanish as a second language user who lives in a latin american city i’d say it’s pretty hard to get around if you only know english. He’ll probably learn just from being around it. Kids tend to do that with new languages. Like he may attend an english based school but the kids will be bilingual and who wouldn’t want to learn the local slang? And then that snowballs into learning more language until one day you’re accidentally fluent.
