Directly like oil and gas and farm subsidies and contracts to the defense industry… or indirectly like food stamps for wal mart workers. I knew the response to ICE in NYC would be more intense than the more spread out cities to the west. “The map is not the territory” this city has a lot of people opposed to the idea of ICE and what they are doing. It’s also not surprising that federal agents are calling any protest of their actions “violent rioters” and “agitators” the pattern here is escalation from the authorities; they escalate to violence no matter how peaceful the opposition
That’s basically the core difference between the 2 political parties in the US currently. One essentially believes humans have a right to be alive, and the other does not. All the other policy differences kind of stem from that.
