    The double standards here are disgusting. Apparently it is just fine to assassinate Charlie Kirk, but not other political figures like Chamenei? Either you condemn assassinations in general, or you don’t. Being selective about that just makes y’all hypocrites. And no, I neither share Charlie Kirks politicals views nor those of the Republican Party as a whole.

      You can be against political assassination and be glad someone you didn’t like is dead.

      Khamenei for instance. I’m absolutely overjoyed that despot got plugged. I hope he died slowly and in pain.

      I think it was a poor strategic move on Americas part and it shouldn’t have happened.

      Trump should be impeached over it. But he won’t be

      That’s great. It’s just too bad that you’re tilting at windmills because nowehere does the OP claim that they support assassinations or happy that someone assassinated Kirk (or anyone else for that matter).

      It’s clearly a sanctamonious fantasy you made up to feel superior and good about yourself.

    What this guy is missing is that, prior to Kirk’s death, no one outside a very small circle of campus conservatives gave a shit about him. He was that random dude who featured in those TPUSA memes about “if you’re so x, why don’t you y”.

    And now everybody’s talking about him.

    It’s not just leftist mockery that’s turned up to 11. I live in a college town. I see posters advertising TPUSA and College Republican meetings all the time. Campus chaplains are still opening Sunday sermons with moments of silence for Charlie. The fucking recruiters are using Kirk to convince kids to enlist.

    Conservative college students used to stay quiet. Now they’re loud and proud - even louder and louder than the liberal students - and it’s because of Kirk.

    And of course conservatives are going full Sunni/Shiite split quoting Kirk (in and out of context) to claim that he would support or oppose the Third Gulf War. He’s like the mirror universe MLK - his memory is so powerful that conservatives are fighting over who gets to claim it.

    And I’ve seen more memes about Kirk in the last few months than I did in his entire lifetime, and that’s not a good thing if you think he’s a shitty cryptofascist who should disappear into the same unmarked grave they dumped Rush Limbaugh into.

    First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. How does that go?

    The fact that everybody on the left is making fun of Kirk - and everybody on the right is trying to claim him for their own - is really, really bad, because it shows he’s far more influential and powerful and dangerous dead than he ever was alive.

    And the fact that literal fascist Nick fucking Fuentes has emerged as the heir apparent to Charlie Kirk and the thought leader of young Republican men nationwide should terrify everyone.

      I mean his death couldn’t have been more memable. He literally got shot at a school by a white kid. While talking about school shootings, trying to shift the focus onto black gangs, standing under a prove me wrong tent.

            I mean, I’m not going to pretend to know everything, obviously a lot of it is media coverage etc… not enough is known, and hell there’s the weird oddities that make me question the entire robinson narrative. (IE the assemble/dissassemble the rifle multiple times that don’t make sense, the fact that the supposed exit wound looks more like an entry wound etc…), But assuming robinson is the shooter, with what we can see, it seems more likely he was against kirks hatred rather than feeling it didn’t go far enough.

            I will admit there’s not enough to go on to get a picture, but with everything that is there, I don’t really see anything there that points to robinson being a bigot.

          We don’t really know how he leaned. The left was told he was a gopher while the right was told he was a leftist.

          I think the whole gopher (edit: groyper) thing was the CIA doing damage control to avoid an other Luigi situation.

        I need it to be so much more televised. I need him to just stop talking mid-sentence, fall over, and shit himself all on live TV. So far ive only gotten 1/3 of that.
