The suspects in question threw IEDs at some white nationalists doing an anti-muslim protest because they were themselves right wing extremist muslims. That’s my understanding.
If it’s a false flag, it could be a pretense for the fascists in the US federal government to put NYC under martial law. That’s the most likely scenario for it being a false flag. That said, the bombs both failing makes it seem more real to me. Who would go through the trouble of staging a failed bombing as an excuse?
