I simply do not believe George W Bush could pronounce those names correctly, or without giggling.
George W. Bush was a lot smarter than he let on. He realized early in his career that the bumbling persona he put on made him more likeable among the rubes. That’s not to say that he was a genius or anything, but he was smarter than people thought.
Same with Boris Johnson.
Yet also Bush Jr at Trump’s inauguration: “that was some weird shit.”
I’m not so sure about this. Any “smart” evil stuff he did was mostly Cheney pulling the strings.
Both can be true. He definitely let Cheney run foreign policy behind the scenes, but that doesn’t automatically mean Bush was an idiot.
