I saw one that’s steam-powered. You put 10% of the wood in the furnace and that chips the other 90% of the wood. No electricity is generated.

Legit, wood chippers are really cool and terrifying machines. Playing the "how big of a log can this thing chomp is fun af.
I love woodchips they are great in the garden especially when they have flesh mixed in very high in nitrogen and good for the soil food web
