It’s run by PJ, a history major that despises history that doesn’t come exclusively from western, bourgeois historians. Despises parties like the Black Panther Party, terminally wrong about Marxism and AES, etc. The epitome of a western radical liberal, a lot of pent-up anger but no actual dedication to theory and/or practice, leaving them hopeless and unable to understand the real conditions for their liberation.

I linked Wikipedia extensively though, there’s nothing more western than that. That’s the reason why there’s no explanation for the ban in the modlog. I’ve been polite and explained everything using western sources, and it’s not enough not to get banned.
Oh believe me, they got upset when I mixed up which article on Wikipedia Soviet Democracy, by Pat Sloan is referenced on, refusing to engage with the fact that even Wikipedia uses it as a source because I didn’t perfectly remember which page it was on. They are doing this deliberately.
Maybe posting this to “yepowertrippinbastards” could be a way to drive people away from piefed.social given how it’s run by a reactionary?

I think it’s intentional. If they pointed to an actual crime of the USSR, communists would just go ‘Yes that was fucked and they shouldn’t have done that’, thus disproving their point about communists being brainwashed or campist or whatever. As it is they can just say ‘look at these tankies defending all these crimes!’
