Very true. The prospect of AI isn’t really to empower people. It’s about quantity over quality. And I don’t think it’s there for the artists or regular people. If it works as intended, it’ll help the tech-bros who shape it and are in control of it. And they act in their own interest. They want people to consume their mass produced cheap stuff. And depend on them. The other option is - AI is unaligned, and then it won’t help anyone. So empowering people is the one thing that’s not on the specification sheet…
