Curious as to what this will lead to. Obviously very cathartic to watch though

Curious as to what this will lead to.

Probably nothing. Maybe some arrests. The boss might either give in, or maybe turn into a turbo-chud and micro-celebrity.

I’m not Greek though, so I can’t tell for sure how things like this developed in the past.

It’ll probably turn out something like the final scene in Christmas Vacation where Bill Murray’s brother realizes the error of his ways and doubles Clark Griswold’s Christmas bonus.

If it’s a one of thing: absolutely nothing

If this starts being a common occurance: changing conditions

Kinda like Luigi. It happening once and then everybody being like “he’ll yea, wish that happened more often” while not doing anything just turns it into a lightning rod for enthusiasm.

Everyone is clowning on you, so I’ll try to give an answer. Left anarchists take direct action to help marginalized people. They recognize that they live in a capitalist country and cannot overthrow it overnight, so they take collective actions to protect the vulnerable and disrupt the plans of the powerful.

I don’t speak Greek and I’m not an anarchist, but I imagine these fellas wanted to show this capitalist that firing women for the crime of being pregnant would have consequences for him.

Correct. They should do things like this even when the firings are legal.

Legal or not, the firings were unjust. That they are illegal by bourgeois law is just icing on the cake that makes it more palatable to believers in the status quo

Breadtube if it didn’t suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It’s open submission unless there’s something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it’s currently in.
