Relatively high effort bits that are just like silly art projects are funny, but all the “did you hear about bad thing? *giggling* bad thing has happened! *breaking down chortling* bad thing is… APRIL FOOL! *bursts out laughing*” bits are just tedious.
The occasional funny one isn’t worth the deluge of low effort bullshit that every April Fools Day brings.

It’s 4 hours old and it has 1.3K likes which I assume is a huge number for that account. I’ve never seen Encyclopaedia Britannica post before at Bluesky. The post was in a raw feed of the site sorted by popularity.
