i wouldn’t call myself a fan of hasan piker but he definitely does do a lot to educate normies on leftism. years back my biggest criticism was that he was just a succdem with radical aesthetics but in recent years i’ve gained a lot more respect for his ability to explain marxist concepts and deploy marxist critique in a palatable way to normies who otherwise hear nothing but liberal propaganda. i also respect that he never caved to DNC pressure, defends and educates people about china and other socialist countries etc. i do find him personally not particularly entertaining or funny but he has his moments. i do tend to prefer to wait for him to upload a twitch clip talking about recent news events to his youtube over most other youtube news channels.
h3, definitely do not like either. i used to watch him back in his heyday and while i found him funny at the time, i would always cringe so hard at how he just attacked feminism and progressives. once i saw him and hasan had a podcast and that ethan had “shifted left” i was like “ehh…” and never really checked it out
