In the aftermath of Tuesday’s presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, Trump’s running mate, Ohio U.S. Sen. JD Vance, made a series of controversial, bigoted, and inflammatory statements during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. Vance doubled down on debunked claims about Haitian immigrants abducting pets to eat them and falsely linked the migrant community to rising rates of HIV and tuberculosis in Springfield, Ohio. His remarks have since drawn widespread condemnation for their harmful, fear-mongering nature.

So we’re now at the “black people cause disease” stage, I see. Are we allowed to call upon the Nazi Germany parallells yet, or is that still “extreme and exaggerated rhetoric”?

No no we’re not at black people stage yet, it’s the Haitian stage. Can’t skip steps or people will speak out, you know the old quote.

They’re claiming that immigrants are walking up to ponds, picking up geese, and then just calmly walking away.

But like, who the fuck has such little experience withe geese that thinks anyone short of the crocodile hunter could pick up a wild goose under any circumstances?

      Haitians of all people? Why?

Because if they said “Jamaicans” it would be too obvious they were talking about Kamala Harris’s family.

I’m just so frustrated. Here we are, I feel the Earth melting under my feet more and more. Every day I wake up to 3-4 weather warnings on my phone. Yet, all half the country can focus on is racist and bigoted bullshit. I truly believe we will all die while listening to the same insane musings.

    • Gotta pick on groups that very few people are familiar with. Over the decades it’s been Africans, Irish, Italians, Chinese, Japanese, Homosexuals, Muslims, Transgendered, Venezuelans (biggest driver of recent immigration), and now Haitians. If you decided to demonize Mexicans now you’d probably instantly get boos and sour looks because nearly all of us know someone of Mexican lineage and can sniff out most bullshit about their culture.

It didn’t flop, it created a surge of racist extremists targeting a small minority demographic. The intention to do great harm was verily accomplished.

I absolutely blame the journalists for not shutting this down in their interviews. It was easy to see this from a mile away and be prepared for it. I haven’t seen a decent interview since Johnathan Swan interviewed trump. WTF has happened to journalism?!

I’d say fine… this should be all of them doing this. Except fox and newsmax… they are entertainment now news channels by their own admission anyway.

“oh that other racist thing was easily proven false? Yeah well… Bet they have HIV!”

I mean… Fuck you, personally, JD the couch lover.

  • You would think the childless cat ladies running the country and making everyone miserable would do something about these cat-eating, HIV spreading Haitians.

    Because that’s what I’m hearing.
