Yes it is a strawman, you keep insisting I support the US’s foreign policies when I simply don’t. The idea that anyone critizising Morales must be acting on behalf of the US is just absurd. You act as if at any point I claimed the US was democratic, but I did not. I don’t think the US is a working democracy either.

And honestly I don’t see why you keep bringing the US into this. They certainly had a hand in the coup, but how is that relevant when evaluating the state of democracy before the coup?

I also never said that changing term limits is undemocratic, because it isn’t. What is undemocratic is holding a referendum to increase term limits, then dismissing the result when it fails.
