I agree too, it’s fun to play if you consider the chuddy paths (especially the Gunther EU one the TFR subreddit has been cheering about) to be completely batshit insane and only an obstacle to world socialism. I’d say it has it’s liberal and chud elements (especially in regards to the American Civil War and how they portray the MLs, compared to the main two Trumpist/Biden-aligned factions) but can overall be fun as a communist to play.

Though, yeah I’m curious why the PRC TFR devs withdrawed… Maybe because of the whole Gunther Fehlinger (WEF-aligned ultralib) pretty much streaming and endorsing TFR while the devs are amicable? The detention doesn’t seem to be confirmed just yet…

It’s definitely a bit vague, from what I have read (though I have not been theory-brained in a while, correct me if I am wrong), the electoralism of the NatDems there (Bayan and related) is an interesting case of how you can build ‘communist consciousness’ and organize while not being directly under the boot of NTF-ELCAC and other US-PH initiatives to wipe the CPP-NPA guerillas…

I personally think, that even from a basic understanding, you’d think the two groups (the ‘mass democratic legal orgs’ and the CPP-NPA ) are somewhat at least cooperative but keep it secret because of the mentioned issues, as the legal orgs instead fight through rallies (seen in Nov 30 and Sep 21 protests), news and generally what you can do as a movement while staying legal. Both have the same analyses anyway, but fight differently. Even from the ‘official’ page of the CPP-NPA, they commonly display news that is reported by Bayan, KMU, etc. that relates to workers’ struggles and other issues.

The current idea for the real anti-corruption movement (meaning not liberal nor dutertist/marcos supporter) is a people’s transition council that has been floated around, but for me, is kinda hopeful and a bit optimistic, considering the AFP and PNP probably won’t like a civilian government that can likely threaten corruption that seeps into all aspects, including those enforcement agencies, and unless I missed something, that’s what the current main publicized goals are.

I have a love-hate relationship with how the (chinese especially like Hoyoverse or Kuro Games) game companies use gooner fanservice sometimes, then the whole ‘discussion’ about WuWa (Wuthering Waves, gacha game, genshin but from Kuro Games) winning the Players’ Voice because of “no DEI” (???) I had to ignore it to not get myself in thata argument since I can’t judge for myself if that’s true since I haven’t played WuWa in a while but likely either untrue or exaggeration (there’s a LOT of reasons, but I know one of them is not DEI).

yeah materially support the gooner creators that aligns with your views if you can, but in this day and age, you’re bound to play a few slop (gooner, especially) games loved by many so my only advice besides that is to keep yourself in check and chat with like-minded people who also like that gooner slop (e.g, I play gacha games like HSR or PGR but I stay far away from the part of the community that isn’t lesbian yuriposting lol)

I’m excited for this, especially after rewatching S1 then Reze Arc anime. The Public Safety Saga is about to escalate after this and I can’t wait to see what they’ll do afterwards.

Such a shame that MAPPA is doing it considering their practice, but ugh… I hope by the time we reach like Anime Adaptation of the current manga Chainsaw Man Arc, capitalism has fallen but yeah…

Yeah, in my experience (of playing WuWa), she’s… decent at playing Carlotta, especially since you meet her a LOT being an important noble family member in the game. Though, I’m still quite surprised WuWa won instead of Genshin or even Dispatch, or E33.
