In this week’s Elie v. U.S., our justice correspondent asks why the media is obsessing over Obama’s Cheesecake Factory joke while largely ignoring allegations of Trump’s sexual assaults. Plus: Republicans prepare to cry election fraud.

People forgot that major news outlets are now owned by a handful of oligarchs. So, it’s in their every interest to put the story under the rug.

Wore it out. We’ve heard nothing but trump=pedo forever now, people are fatigued with that information.

It doesn’t generate clicks anymore. So the news doesn’t care.

However, that mental 14 year old shitlord trump trash talking Talarico? They love covering that drivel.

Why is the Media Ignoring the […] allegations?

Because Americans ignored similar allegations last time and voted the shithead into power. If they didn’t care then, why should they care now? Trump was a convicted felon and an adjudicated rapist when they elected him. New allegations are just resume padding.

Edit: I meant rapist, not racist (though Trump is both)

I agree with you, but I try not to be like this.

And that’s because me being blasé or nonchalant about it all is exactly what the fat orange child rapist wants.
That disgusting human shaped thing knows everyone knows about the rapes of children and women but can not change that, however what can be changed is our tiredness and ‘acceptance’ of it all.

So now when I’m in the ‘hmmm, I know he’s a paedo’ mode I change it to ‘THAT FAT CUNT IS A FUCKING PAEDO. DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH!’ mode.

You’re right, but I guess I am always in the ‘THAT FAT CUNT IS A FUCKING PAEDO. DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH!’ mode, but that doesn’t mean that him being fat, a cunt or a PAEDO is news worthy for me.

For me, I want to see him on death row, and I want the names of all those who are on his team, then the names of all those who support his ideologies, then the names of those who need re-education. That’s the news I want.

I won’t click on anything that says “yet another person accuses orange cunt man of rape”. I’ve heard enough evidence, I want action now

“Flood the zone” is quite literally the most effective political strategy in the past 100 years.

None of the new allegations are surprising at all. Anyone with two eyes who saw that video of Trump and Epstein at that party knows exactly what was happening.

But let’s be real…what batshit crazy news could come out tomorrow that would really shock you? Right now, a few days before election day, we’re all expecting what, troops at the polls? Martial law? Another Jan. 6? Do you really think the Trump ballroom or The Kennedy Center are real issues, or were they just looking for crazy shit to distract everyone? Lake America? Gulf of America?

Every day it’s just more on top of more. New Epstein allegations are just noise on top of the already existing noise at this point.

I don’t know how we can go back from this after how well “flood the zone” worked…

    They’re not.

If you mean why don’t CNN, Fox, NBC, MSNBC, and whatever other mainstream cable 24-hour news aggregator consistently report on it… They’re not really news agencies. They work and live on ratings. So they report whatever makes them money and should not be treated as news.
