More redundancy news here. Whilst I’m still glad it’s not me, it also makes you wonder about the future. A good reminder to never give too much at work

    Healing continues.

I am past shopping as a recreational activity. I was out getting some things on a list and thought to myself, This is such a waste of time. I would rather be at home studying or reading or writing something.

In the past it was a way to get out the house and it was a “safe” activity

Not really, there’s a walk down Skeleton Creek, it goes to a mangrove swamp/mud flats . It is infested with tiger snakes.

But the little suburban area is nice, nice and interesting gardens and the locals are very nice, so I walk around

I haven’t explored much around here yet.

I like to look for houses about to be demolished then raid their gardens for flowers before the excavator gets there. Just spoke to a bloke that bought a house round the corner and he said once settlement goes through I can have free reign at his many many clivia that he’ll otherwise have ripped out and tossed.

Pakidge! It must be my new doorbell camera. I stuffed up when I made my initial order and accidentally got the model which does not have a changeable battery, I have to take the whole thing down and have no doorbell while it recharges. So I’ve bought another of the same model, so I can just swap the whole doorbell over.

Yeah, its a problem. I’d love to have a couple of chooks, but my backyard isn’t big enough and council doesn’t like them in the front yard. Also high risk of being eaten by foxes and/or stolen. There are squillions of foxen around Thornbury thanks to Merri Creek and the tramways depot.

If you feel like spending one on the new Dracula, it is (mostly) great fun!! I enjoy media that doesn’t portray Dracula as a Sex God - though one might be fooled by the social media campaign. I especially like Aimee Lou Woods as Lucy and Francis Lovehall as Arthur.

have done 🙂 once I finish the book I’m on now, the second Babylon Berlin book, I’ll listen to Dracula

This book I’m listening to now, has very seriously creepy passages of a serial killer , it’s quite chilling 😟

RIP Sir Patrick Stewart. 86. He seemed like a kind man.

And another one bites the dust. Will be much missed. I loved the way he played Picard.
