So that failed community college lecturer Gingrich is part of this brain trust? Republicans revere him as an intellectual because he’s read a book or two, and even had a few ghostwritten.

“A board loaded with defense contractors and one draft-dodging war hawk will decide the future of the US military,” said one observer. “What could possibly go wrong?”

It’s OK though: they’re overseen by a drunken TV host, and he’s overseen by a senile pedophile rapist, and in any case all the big policy decisions are made by the zombie-eyed, hairless, friendless Nazi lurking in the shadows.

What the fuck do you mean by the future of warfare? That’s the most mask-off way of saying The Forever War is the endgoal itself. Why the fuck are we allowing these assholes to make so much money on murder?

Naturalized citizen I suppose. Not a true citizen since citizenship by naturalization can be revoked. Elon musk’s naturalized citizenship should be revoked since he is a traitor and anEpstein class pedophile. An Epstein class naturalized US citizen should definitely be grounds for removal, don’t you think? Nope he’s being put in charge of the military. Can’t make this shit up 😂

citizenship by naturalization can be revoked

Theoretically this can only be done if it’s proven the naturalized citizen lied on their application. So probably still applies to Elon.

Last I recall Elmo thinks that stealth aircraft are pointless because they can be defeated by “cameras and AI” or some such. He literally thinks he’s the smartest engineer in the world when he’s not even an engineer.

This amount of corrupt rot and dunning-kruger has the promise of being a fatal bowie knife to the kidney of American military power, so I can’t say I’m too unhappy.

They actually had to hire someone who’s job it is to make sure Elon never talks to engineers. Because he had a bad habit of firing them when they contradicted him.

Which they did because he knew nothing about what he was talking about.

This problem was so bad it lead to a hiring crisis.

          Not surprised.

Billionaires are not the best and brightest of us. They are people who merely have a lot of money which buys more money. They don’t innovate, the success of their companies is in spite of them not because of them.

And I hope to see the revolution.

Especially these tech billionaires since most of their ideas and what they got off the ground with were already either being worked on by other people or are so basic of ideas that wouldve come about regardless. Just to use Henry Ford as an example the assembly line was revolutionary for the time since it allowed labor specialization on each step of production allowing for quick and cheap production via volume, which was a massive step up from the previous method of artisan assembly where a person or team of people worked on one vehicle at a time. Not to say Ford wasn’t a dumbass but he had an actual skill for logistics and production.

Meanwhile look at Musk had he never invested in Tesla electric cars would’ve still become popular, hell without Tesla absorbing market space it’s possible one of the more established car companies wouldve jumped onto the market niche far sooner. Also I don’t think Musk is in possession of any skills.

Colt did it over 60 years before Ford. Ford’s big achievement was coming up with a way to effectively apply it to car manufacturing. He was also very good at design for manufacturability, and design for maintainability with the widely available tech of the day. A blacksmith could fix a lot of things with a Model T.

Ford was not a dumbass. He was, however, a control frek, a racist, an antisemite and a proto-fascist.

Musk, on the other hand, has never done anything but own things. When he had to make decisions at PayPal, they were so bad that he was fired.

My point exactly in a far more succinct way. Though I will point out that it wasn’t necessarily just cars that it was applied to but a lot of large products as well, a bit like when your playing a game and unlock a small version of a tech and then get a large version later.

Regardless Musk may as well be Ford but with none of the positives.

All Musk has is branding, he turned his name into a brand by making documentaries about how he’s the real life Iron Man and building hype around the idea of him as a super genius.

The other two, sure, but Palmer Lucky has actually been developing autonomous weapons for some time now… And he also sold Meta the Quest V1 which kicked off the current phase of VR technology some 15 or so years ago.

I don’t think enough people are questioning who the “influencer “ is and where he came from or who funds him
